How Analog CCTV Cameras Work?

Analog means the CCTV system is set up to send its signal to a digital video recorder (DVR) through BNC cable. DVR able to install 1 or more hard disk for video footage recording, and it usually supports HDMI or VGA video output, which allow central monitoring on LCD Monitor or TV. The advanced feature of DVR is remote video live streaming and playback.

 

How IP CCTV Cameras Work?

An IP security camera sends its signal along a network. It’s using Cat 5 or Cat 6 Cable to send a signal to a network video recorder(NVR). NVR has a similar feature with DVR (E.g HDD for video footage recording, HDMI/VGA Video output, central or remote monitoring). IP CCTV Systems have more advanced feature compare with Analog CCTV systems. It able to support higher resolution, more advanced video codec and more secured video/audio transmission.

 

How Wireless IP Camera Work? 

Wireless IP security cameras are easy to install. You don’t need network cabling, because of the camera able to work with the wireless router and record video footage into a Micro SD Card. In addition, wireless IP camera able to support local and remote video streaming and playback.
